The seminar focuses on directed networks trained via backpropagation and leaves aside other tyoes of networks such as Boltzmann machines, self-organizing maps, etc. Each student is requested to pick a particular book chapter (or sections) from the list (available on ISIS), and present it at the end of the semester.
